Opening of the Eyes Photography provides you with custom high-resolution digital images for your online needs (headshots, social media, websites), portfolios, and print photography. I specialize in capturing stunning candid and sophisticated, contemporary urban portrait style images of people, places, objects and events! 

I am a professional photographer and artist fluent in diverse visual mediums. My photography services, fine art prints and greeting cards are offered in the Greater Seattle area and Pacific Northwest. 

Photography has been a passion of mine for 20 years. This devotion to art is inspired by my father Jim Covarrubias, a famous Native American and Chicano artist living in the Southwest. I grew up in art galleries and studios, constantly surrounded by art and artists. I enjoy experimenting with acrylic painting techniques to bring extra-life to my prints. Blending the photos with different mediums produces a hybrid-photograph and original work of art with my clients.
